Belize City has a significant Garifuna community including several hundred Garinagu from Honduras. While the Belizean Garifuna community is spread over the city, the Garifuna immigrants from Honduras are gathered in one area called ?Little Honduras?. While this community is extremely poor, it counts amongst its inhabitants some of the most talented Garifuna musicians and singers in Central America, including Punta Rock star Lugua Centeno.
